4 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 cup Honey
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons ground Flax seed
Now that is the base and you can put whatever you want to make it tasty to you. The recipe calls for 2 cups of chocolate chips so I am sure that if whatever you put in should equal out to that 2 cups as not to over fill.
Spread the mixture out onto a baking pan and bake at 325 for 18 to 22 minutes depending on how you like your bars. I tend to use the 18 because I like mine still kinda chewy. After they are done, cool for 10 minutes then over turn onto a cutting board. Using a pizza cutter, cut into desired pieces.
These are normally gone in a matter of days. They always come out so tasty. Another thing, if you don't like the taste of the olive oil, you can used butter.
Try them out, let me know what you think.
I will keep trying to find unprocessed alternatives to what we can buy in the store!
